Take place in the top of the range Sports Arena situated in University of Limerick.



The National 50m Swimming Pool is Ireland’s first Olympic sized pool. It measures 50m x 25m, allowing for long and short course training / competition, and has an adjustable floor at the shallow end, so the depth can be changed to suit the particular activity.  The viewing arena accommodates 1500 spectators.

  • A unique feature of the Pool is that it operates in 50m format all day every day, meaning you can swim ‘long course’ all the time!

Training hours will be provided free of charge for all teams 2-5pm on Monday 10th Sept.

Swimming clubs from all over Ireland and abroad (including the Dutch and GB Olympic squads, Villanova and Notre Dame Universities from the U.S) have trained here, and many have established links with management to send future high profile camps back to Limerick, Ireland’s sporting capital.
